Welcome to my website, My name is Kelly the founder of Kelly Marshall Photography.

I believe choosing the right photographer is an important part of any photo project. As well as my portfolio of work I would love to share with you my experience, background, past and passion for photography so you can get to know me.

Having had a successful career in the modelling and beauty pageant industry whilst bringing up three children, I decided to follow my life passions to study photography at the University of Bedfordshire to study my BA Honours degree.

In 2017 I received the Photography Student of the year award “HNC Photography student Kelly Marshall aged 37 from Dunstable, was awarded a prize for her meticulous attention to detail, constantly pushing herself to achieve perfection and her unwavering commitment to her course whilst balancing family responsibilities.”

Throughout my career as a portrait photographer, I have always strived for excellence, committed to giving the best photography experience and high quality imagery for my customers.

With a meticulous eye and a creative vision I have  gained over 4 years’ experience in Photography working in Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire areas.

With my experience in the modelling industry and the way in which images are heavily manipulated I strive to photograph what I see. The portraits I produce are honest and a humble portrayal of somebody’s aesthetic both internal and external.

Today, we live in a world where drastically digitally manipulated images have become the norm giving a false representation of one’s true appearance resulting in a falsified image for public consumption. In my working practice as a portrait photographer I implement minimal editing techniques to show a true representation of the people I photograph.

With my outgoing personality, I pride myself on providing a fun and relaxed environment both in my studio or on location to enable clients to feel comfortable and relaxed allowing personality, character, and persona to show through.
